Auburn Christian Church is pleased to host DivorceCare ... a special help seminar and support group for people experiencing divorce & separation. Throughout this 13 week support group, you will hear the stories of those who have been where you are, and find guidance and support you need to move forward.
We know it hurts, and we are here to walk alongside you through this.
DivorceCare will be facilitated by Nate & Jodi Powell. Over the years, Pastor Nate and his wife Jodi have had a heart for and walked along side many who have gone through separation or divorce. The suggested donation per person ($20) pays for the cost of the workbook, but please do not let cost prevent you from attending. Childcare is available upon request, so please reach out to us if we can make that arrangement for you.
Current Session: DivorceCare will meet starting on February 2, 2026, meeting from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The group will meet every following Monday thru April 27, 2026. All meetings will take place in the basement of the Legacy Worship Center at 1100 15th Street in Auburn. (Enter thru the East Basement doors.) We are also glad to be offering during these 13 weeks DivorceCare for Kids. DC4K is a 13-week program for children ages 5–12 whose parents are in a separation or divorce. It’s filled with activities, games, music, and crafts that help kids process their feelings and communicate with their parents. The children learn that they are loved, they will be okay, and God’s love will strengthen them. These sessions will be led by Nancy Holman, who has helped with DivorceCare previously and who has parented her own children through divorce. She is a great resource, and is glad to serve kids that are effected by divorce. Click HERE to register for DivorceCare for Kids.
